Ghost Coast Distillery Opens on Indian Street

When distilleries say they try and capture the essence of a city, you’d expect them to attempt to recreate the personality of the city in the flavor and body of their liquor. But at Ghost Coast Distillery, North Carolina natives Chris Sywassink and Rob Ingersoll pull straight from Savannah’s atmospheric elements and create a barely-altered, authentic and representative of the city.

New Bill Changes Campus Carry Laws For Georgia Public Colleges and Universities 

Keys? Check. ID? Check. Phone? Check. Books? Check. Gun? Check.

Starting July 1, 2017 students at public universities and colleges in Georgia may be carrying more than just everyday school supplies in their backpacks.

On Thursday May 14, 2017 Georgia Governor Nathan Deal, signed a measure that will allow college students and others to carry and posses handguns on college campuses.

Savannah named “The Best Small Town to Live and Work as a Moviemaker”

Most are aware of the small town charm and historic significance that Savannah holds, but many may not realize that Georgia’s First City is also flourishing as one of the best cities for aspiring filmmakers.

At the start of 2017, MovieMaker Magazine named Savannah one of “The Best Places to Live and Work as a Moviemaker.” It not only garnered the number one spot for 2017, but in 2016 as well.
